Back to reality
So, after a nice long whirlwind tour of China, I have come back to reality and ready to begin my new entrepreneurial life. Well, we’ve already started our first project but we’re still in the very, very preliminary stages. ”We” being myself and my UX / Jedi Master of an older brother, Ken Seto. We have a curiously symbiotic relationship in which he handles the UX and front-end and I handle the back-end coding and infrastructure. I’m sure that’s exactly how our parents envisioned it when they first conceived us. One does front-end, the other back-end. Hmmm, that didn’t come out quite right.
Anyhow, all things are good and all engines are firing now. I just have to decide on a platform / framework. Right now, I’d say it’s a toss up between RoR and CakePHP. I’ve done some preliminary research but I’ll post my final decision next week. In the meantime, I need play around with them some more.
Oh, so who’s going to HoHoTo? I sure am.
